Winning the third place rosette for a trade stall was the icing on the cake for our first visit to the mid-Devon Show. The weather was lovely and thankfully not too hot in the mid-Devon Craft Guild marquee where we were located. The footfall was just right and after a slow start to the day, people started arriving around lunchtime. Plant supports were in demand and it was a real surprise to get third place rosette for our stall. The judging had taken place anonymously earlier in the day. We’ll be back again next year. Meantime, it’s a case of all hands to the deck to be ready to set up at the Taunton Flower Show, which runs Friday and Saturday 2nd and 3rd August.
