Chagford was a beautiful setting for a show, although as our landlady at the B&B where we stayed said “We have our own washing machine of a climate up here”. We took the opportunity to visit Castle Drogo and Fingle Bridge the day before the show so were set up, raring to go on Thursday morning. To our amazement, we won the third place rosette for a trade stand again! That’s now joined the one we won at mid-Devon Show and takes pride of place in our pantry.
