June 1st saw Buckland Abbey’s Garden Fayre, which followed the success of the Millennial Gardens celebration last year. And what a fantastic day it was. More stallholders than last year and with some changes to keep things interesting for visitors, who came in droves. It was a glorious day (they say the sun shines on the righteous so monks ought to have a head start!) and we had a super time underneath the enormous Monterey Pine next to the jovial Mickey Little from Avon Bulbs. Apparently the festival is going biennial so looks like we’ll have to wait until 2021 for another.
