Melplash Show proved again what a great day out it is. There is just so much to do and see; it would be easy to lose yourself there. For our second year we were in the Countryside field where the arena saw terrier racing, horse displays, ferret racing and falconry. One of the birds participating in the display – a kite of some sort – was a little bit wayward, and decided to fly around and enjoy the gorgeous summer day and breeze each time he was let out. He chose to rest on our gazebo for a while although we weren’t so impressed by the presents he left us when we came to collapse the gazebo!
